Book Summer Programme

Join us in Summer 2019 and choose from our comprehensive range of English academic learning and activity programmes

IELA Summer Programme provides an interactive English Language curriculum/host family for visiting students, the enviable location being at the heart of Sutton village, overlooking Dublin Bay.  Students generally walk to/from school each day.   The academic programme caters for Trinity College of London or Cambridge IGCSE students with final exit examinations/certificates.

IELA-Dublin reflects the most recent knowledge in teaching and learning research.
Our courses are varied and communicative.   Speaking, listening, reading and writing are practised in situations based on real-life, using authentic texts.

English is oriented to topical and inter-cultural subject matter. Themes based on regional culture, (online) projects and research tasks provide a variety of opportunities to approach the subject of English-speaking culture.

The teaching medium and communication is only through English from arrival to departure.  We have Teachers with fluency in many different languages to support a student if required.   Our Learning platform provides innovative and flexible learning opportunities and offers work experience programmes to complement their English development skills.

What’s different about IELA-Dublin?

  • Irish Teenagers integrate with students in our classes
  • Teachers spend full day with our students, not just during classes
  • Additional free English Classes subject to availability
  • IELA-Dublin text book
  • High quality homestay in Sutton and Howth villages close to our school
  • Safe & prestigious community environment, 20 minutes from Dublin Airport
  • Limited numbers to ensure a high quality service to all our students.
